Operating in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, PFU (EMEA) LIMITED is responsible for marketing and sales of fi Series and SP Series document scanners. The European company was established in the United Kingdom in 1981 and has offices in the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy and Spain and Knowledge Suites in France and the United Arab Emirates.

Company established in Unoke Junior High School (Unoke Denshi Kogyo Partnership).

1975

World’s first 16-bit microcomputer on a single chip.

1983

First imaging scanner - U4310A

2005

World’s first A4 scanner with ultrasonic multi- feed detection (fi-5120C/5220C).

2006

Opened ProDes Centre, our innovation and design hub in Ishikawa, Japan.

2012

World’s first Intelligent Sonic Paper Protection (iSOP) equipped into new fi Series.

2017

First dedicated document scanning company to sell over 10 million scanners. First organisation to win both: “Consumer Offer/Branding Program/Customer Loyalty” and “Sales Incentive” IMA Circle of Excellence award categories.

We hold ISO standard certification for 9001, 27001, all of our Japan sites hold the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification and each of our other manufacturing locations take this standard as their benchmark. In addition, most of our products are also Energy Star certified.
